After months of fighting the voice of the Lord, telling Him "I cannot possibly start a support group alone!", I called several people and they all agreed that it was a good idea.  Finally, a very dear friend told me that it was my burden not anyone else's and that I needed to start working with the Lord on His project!

 

I continued to pray about it and discovered that I was not alone.  God was with me every step of the way!  Our group started out small with 5 people involved.  We met several times at the church and then started going to breakfast at a nearby restaurant.  We continue to grow and now meet on a regular basis.

 

We have learned how everyone goes through different stages in their grief.  He encouraged us to talk and share with each other.  We learned to be helpful to one another, because we have each gone through a stage at least once and thus we become kindred  hearts!

 

When I stepped out in faith and obeyed God, He blessed me with many friends with kindred hearts!
