Pastor Gary OrrPastor Gary Orr :: Dr. Orr became pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church in December of 1986. He and Donna (his wife of 33 years) have three grown sons. "Bro. Gary", as he is affectionately known by the congregation, is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University, Luther Rice Seminary, and The Trinity Theological Seminary.

Ross LawRoss Law, Minister of Worship and Education :: Ross came to Trinity in December of 2005 as Minister of Music and Education. His desire in ministry is to support the pastor and church staff to the unity of the church, fellowship of believers and to see the lost saved. He wants to teach people to fall in love with Jesus and continue an ongoing relationship with Him. As he ministers, his desire is to communicate hope to people.

Ross & Nancy have four sons, Stephen, Jared, Dustin, & Ryan. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology and a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling & Psychology.

Music is and has always been a part of Ross’ life and he believes music is a very important need in ministry. He plays the guitar and trombone and has traveled semi-professional with The Tidesman Quartet from North Miami, Florida. He began a chorale for a youth ministry that performed on a church television broadcast, worked with choirs, put together musicals and combined with other churches for special services. From solo work to multiple choir musicals the purpose and desire is that the Gospel and the Ministry be enriched because of music.
 

Mike Jenkins, Minister of Missions and Youth :: Mike was born in Farmington, New Mexico, andMike Jenkins raised in Texas. He graduated from Baylor University where he met his wife and best friend, Kim Barnes Jenkins. Mike and Kim have been married for 17+ years and have twin daughters, Courtney and Chelsea.

At the age of 21, Mike accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior under the preaching ministry of Bro. Gary in July of 1987. He and Kim quickly became involved in leading Bible Study ministries and children's church. While serving as a chaperone for a youth retreat, Mike felt the call of God on his life to enter the gospel ministry. He was called as Youth Director of Trinity in February, 1994.

"First and foremost, I'm a missionary at heart. Whether to teens in our area or to homeless children in third world countries, I'm compelled to share the love and hope available through Jesus Christ."


Neva Box, Church Secretary :: Neva was born and raised in Henderson, Texas. She attended Henderson schools and afterNevagraduation, went to Tyler Commercial College. She is married to Buddy Box who is retired after working at a Chevrolet dealership in Kilgore for 43 years. They have four children and seven grandchildren. She enjoys hunting, fishing and being with her family. They moved from Kilgore, Texas in 1987 to Lake Cherokee and became members of Trinity Baptist Church on October 9, 1988.

Neva retired from Cooper/Cameron Oil Tool in March of 1995 after 18 years. She joined the staff of Trinity Baptist Church in April 1997. She enjoys her job as church secretary at Trinity Baptist and feels this is part of God's plan for her life.
